The Djibouti
populations, members of the political opposition and the government
in Exile of Djibouti are pleased with the arrest of Saddam Hussein,
Saturday evening December 14, 2003, by the American forces in a farm
of the North of Iraq.
It is with
a deep satisfaction that they were informed of this essential event
which should contribute to the emergence of the democracy in Iraq
and puts a term at fears of the return of Saddam Hussein on the national
and international scene.
Demonstration
is made that a sanguinary despot - in Iraq, in Djibouti as elsewhere
- which survives by the use of the terror system could not escape
from Justice and than artificial sovereignty by the falsification
of Elections does not guarantee an eternal impunity.
In
the name of the Djibouti populations,
for the political opposition
and for the Government in Exile of Djibouti
President
Mahamoud Idriss Ahmed.
